"The interest of Moroccans in Madagascar is one of the stimulating and encouraging factors for Moroccan investors to come to this region of Africa to launch projects and create businesses in various economic sectors," said Mohamed Bengalani, Moroccan ambassador to Malagasy Tananarivo.

"There are many investment opportunities in Madagascar that require Moroccan enterprises to explore high-efficiency sectors such as renewable energy, agriculture and infrastructure projects," he said in a meeting with Hasparis. "It is important to note that there are many Malagasy companies dealing with Morocco for years in different sectors such as renewable energies and agriculture.

On the guarantees available to Moroccan contractors, the Moroccan diplomat said the signing of 22 agreements in the hands of King Mohammed VI and Malagasy President is a key and important step that legitimizes any Moroccan investment in Madagascar.
